Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage will help make sure you and your loved ones are taken care of in the event you are not able to work.
Every Katy ISD employee who is eligible for benefits is provided a $20,000 life insurance and AD&D policy at no cost.
Optional Life and Disability Coverage
- You can add coverage in increments of $10,000, up to the total amount of your salary, without providing evidence of insurability (EOI). You may qualify to increase you coverage more if you provide EOI.
- The maximum amount of disability coverage you can have is $200,000.
- The maximum amount of life coverage you can have is $300,000.
