RediMD Telehealth

Katy ISD employees and their covered dependents who are enrolled in a Katy ISD medical plan can see a board-certified physician via video conference, over the phone or online. For a $0 copay, you can avoid the inconvenience and expense of an emergency room or urgent care clinic.

What is RediMD?

RediMD is an affordable alternative to costly urgent care and ER visits. By setting up a consultation via phone, videoconference or online, you can access a wide network of primary care physicians, pediatricians and family medicine physicians to diagnose, treat and prescribe medications (if necessary) for common health issues.

RediMD provides 24/7, on-demand access to medical help to registered members for a $0 copay. Each of your visits will allow you to use a mobile device to send photos to your doctor and receive prescriptions as needed – all with security of patient-physician confidentiality.

Who can use RediMD?

RediMD is available to Katy ISD employees and family members currently enrolled in a district medical plan.

When needed, members over the age of 18 can request a consult by phone, videoconference, or online at their convenience – anytime, anywhere.

When you schedule a consult, you will be connected with a qualified, U.S. board-certified physician to help address your issue.  All RediMD doctors:

  • Are practicing primary care physicians, pediatricians and family medicine physicians
